Defibrillators for the Common Good

This example sets a precedent!

For just under 300 residents, there is a defibrillator in Ticino for the life-saving emergency. This number from the end of 2018 is rising, as is the high survival rate of just under 60%.

Now, more and more municipalities in German-speaking and Western Switzerland are following suit by expanding or even launching their network of public 24-hour defibrillators. The responsibility and awareness for life-saving measures for the population are sharpened: here, only 5% of people with cardiac arrest are saved.

How the life-saving electric shock spreads across municipal areas has been accompanied by resQshock in a reference project. This example sets a precedent!
